Take the client, but only as an instrument. A large, difficult account is a form of credentialing. Surviving it, and documenting how, gives you something no pitch deck can: evidence that the people with leverage over you could not break your standards. The question is not whether the client is hard. The question is what the difficulty will teach you that your competitors, who avoided it, will never see.
Here is the danger. If you take this account to relieve cash pressure or to feed your own sense of arrival, it will consume the company and you will end up serving it instead of the reverse. So decide in advance what the account is for. Perhaps it funds a hire, proves you can handle enterprise scale, or gives you a reference that opens doors.
