What this is

authority.md sells 576+ thinking frameworks across 42 categories, plus 12 Tools and 7 Bundles built on top of them. Every framework is delivered as a plain .md file and a native Claude Skill, ready to use with Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or any LLM that accepts a system prompt.

Every framework is drawn from its subject's documented public record: books, letters, talks, interviews, and other material they actually said or wrote. Nothing is invented, and nothing is presented as an impersonation of the person themselves. The frameworks describe how a named thinker has documented their own reasoning, not a claim to channel them.

Who's behind it

authority.md is built and run by Gareth Hoyle. Gareth has worked in search marketing for twenty years and is managing director of Marketing Signals, a UK digital agency, where his focus for the last several years has been how AI systems find, evaluate, and recommend things.

He is not a developer by background. He built authority.md solo using Claude Code, which is either a warning or a proof of concept depending on your view of where software is going. He speaks internationally on agentic AI and search.
