Stories small enough to finish and criteria a stranger can test.
A set of user stories with pass or fail acceptance criteria, drafted from a feature brief and ordered for a team to pick up.
Stories go wrong two ways. They are too big to finish in a sprint, or the acceptance criteria say things like 'works smoothly' and 'done' turns into an argument. Slicing by layer of the stack makes it worse.
User Story Pack extracts the outcomes from your brief, slices them by what the user can do, and writes criteria in given, when, then form with at least one unhappy path each. It orders the pack from the thinnest working slice and lists the questions your brief left open.
What it produces.

- →Three to six pass or fail criteria per story, including error cases
- →Dependencies and a suggested order of work
- →A list of open questions addressed to whoever likely owns the answer
- ✦Product owners prepping a sprint
- ✦Tech leads breaking an epic into tickets
- ✦Product managers turning a brief into a backlog

How is this different from just asking Claude directly?
Asked cold, Claude writes tidy stories with soft criteria and rarely thinks about the empty state or the permission failure. This slices by user action, requires a testable criterion for every story, and checks that each outcome in the brief is covered.
How is this different from a Tool?
Playbooks are systematically produced to a fixed template and priced accordingly ($12.99). Tools are hand-built, one at a time, and go deeper ($39 to $199). A Playbook gives you a reliable method for routine work; a Tool is for when the judgment matters more than the format.
Will this work with ChatGPT, Gemini, and other LLMs?
Yes. You get a native Claude Skill (.zip) that auto-invokes in Claude, plus a plain .md you can paste into a ChatGPT Custom GPT, a Gemini system prompt, or any LLM. The procedure travels with the file.
Can I share this with my team?
It's licensed for your own personal and professional use. The output it produces is yours to circulate. To put the Playbook itself in the hands of a whole team, email hello@authority.md about team licensing.
