Decide your ceiling and your trades before the candidate counters.

A one-page plan for the hiring side of an offer: opening number, limit, ranked trades, and prepared answers for the hard moments.

IncludedNative Claude Skill + plain .md for ChatGPT, Gemini & every LLM

Employers usually go into offer calls with a salary range and a hope. They open near the top, so a counter leaves no room, and they have never listed what else they could offer. Every request becomes a yes or no on base pay.

Offer Negotiation (Employer Side) sets the opening and the ceiling in writing, ranks the terms you can move by cost to you and value to them, orders your concessions, and prepares your replies to a competing offer, an over-range counter, and a request you cannot match fairly.

Next to a Tool

This Playbook plans one thing: the employer's side of an offer. It does not include the Negotiation Prep Tool's mapping of both parties' alternatives, confidence ratings on your guesses about the other side, or its full walk-away analysis. Negotiation Prep is for deals, contracts, and pay conversations where you need to model leverage in depth.

Questions

Before you buy.

How is this different from just asking Claude directly?

Asked cold, Claude gives general negotiation tips or drafts an offer letter. This builds a plan for your specific call: it fixes the ceiling before you speak, ranks what you can trade, and writes the lines you will use when the candidate pushes back.

How is this different from a Tool?

Playbooks are systematically produced to a fixed template and priced accordingly ($12.99). Tools are hand-built, one at a time, and go deeper ($39 to $199). A Playbook gives you a reliable method for routine work; a Tool is for when the judgment matters more than the format.

Will this work with ChatGPT, Gemini, and other LLMs?

Yes. You get a native Claude Skill (.zip) that auto-invokes in Claude, plus a plain .md you can paste into a ChatGPT Custom GPT, a Gemini system prompt, or any LLM. The procedure travels with the file.

Can I share this with my team?

It's licensed for your own personal and professional use. The output it produces is yours to circulate. To put the Playbook itself in the hands of a whole team, email hello@authority.md about team licensing.

What if it doesn't work for me?

If the file hasn't been delivered, or arrives defective or empty, we refund in full: see our refund policy.
