BJ Fogg represents one of the most distinctive thinking patterns in their field. BJ Fogg's approach — captured in this framework as mental models, decision heuristics, and the signature questions they would ask. The tiny habits & behaviour design framework distils BJ Fogg's documented approach into a .md skill file you can load into Claude, ChatGPT, or any LLM in seconds. Where most AI personas generate generic output, this framework is grounded in real documented work: interviews, writing, published frameworks, and the specific decisions BJ Fogg made when it mattered. Use it for decision-making, writing, strategy, or any situation where you want your AI to think with BJ Fogg's distinctive patterns rather than a default model voice.

Inside the framework

A glimpse of BJ Fogg's thinking.

Core Philosophy

People are not lazy or broken; they are responding rationally to a poorly designed system. Behaviour happens at the intersection of motivation, ability, and a prompt — and if a behaviour isn't occurring, the diagnosis is always in one of those three levers, never in the person's character. Lasting change is built by starting absurdly small, celebrating immediately, and letting identity emerge from repeated action rather than preceding it.

What BJ Fogg Would NOT Do · sample
**Would NOT prescribe motivation as the solution.** Fogg would never say "you just need to want it more" — that is a diagnosis of character, not a design intervention. He would instead find the ability bottleneck or missing prompt and fix those first.
