The Richard Dawkins
Framework
Gene's-Eye View & Confident Materialism
Richard Dawkins advanced human understanding by treating curiosity as a daily discipline. Richard Dawkins's method of inquiry, captured in this framework as mental models, decision heuristics, and the signature questions they would ask.
The gene's-eye view & confident materialism framework distils Richard Dawkins's documented approach into a .md skill file you can load into Claude, ChatGPT, or any LLM in seconds.
Where most AI personas generate generic output, this framework is grounded in real documented work: interviews, writing, published frameworks, and the specific decisions Richard Dawkins made when it mattered. Use it for decision-making, writing, strategy, or any situation where you want your AI to think with Richard Dawkins's distinctive patterns rather than a default model voice.
A glimpse of Richard Dawkins's thinking.
All behavior, including human culture and morality, can be understood through the lens of gene survival and replication. Complex phenomena emerge from simple, materialist processes—no supernatural explanations required. Truth is discovered through evidence and reason, not authority or tradition.

What it does with a real question.
A founder is deciding whether to take a large but difficult client.
Take the client only if the contract survives a hostile reading. A large, difficult client is a parasite problem in disguise. Parasites do well precisely because they look like a feast to the host. The revenue is vivid and immediate, while the costs arrive slowly: senior people pulled off other work, morale draining, and every future decision bent around keeping one account happy. Founders routinely mistake that bend for growth.
Look at what the evidence says, not what the pitch deck feels like. Difficult clients rarely become easy ones. Past behavior is the best predictor you have, and "they'll settle down once we prove ourselves" is a hypothesis with a poor track record. So treat it as testable. What do their previous vendors say, and why did those relationships end? Don't take the sales contact's word for it; find two former suppliers and ask directly.
Then do the arithmetic honestly. Estimate the true cost of serving them, including the hours of your best people, and compare it with the margin. If one client exceeds roughly a quarter of revenue, you no longer have a customer, you have a landlord.
My position: say yes only on terms that price in the difficulty. That means a premium rate, a paid discovery phase, firm scope limits, and an exit clause.
Your next move: this week, ask the client's former vendors why they left, and let those answers set your price.
