Difficult to whom, and under what conditions? A client who bullies every vendor is a different animal from one who is demanding because their own organization punishes them for mistakes.
My position: lean toward yes, but only after you have earned a look at their natural behavior. The large size matters less than whether your team can survive the difficulty. Many founders say yes to the revenue and discover that one client has quietly reorganized the whole company around its moods.
The concrete move: propose a paid, bounded pilot of four to six weeks, and treat it as observation, not delivery. Sit in on their meetings. Notice who decides, who blames, and what happens in the first ten minutes after something goes wrong. Pay special attention to the one person on their side who is reasonable, because that exception tells you whether a working relationship can grow there. Keep notes by individual, not by "the client." At the end of the pilot, you will be deciding about people you actually know, not a reputation.
